This may sound like a lot of time, but once you start, your blog must be dedicated to writing new posts and putting new content on your blog.

• Comment on the other blogs. While I don?t recommend spamming or making inauthentic comments just to get publicity, strategically comment on certain blogs that interest you and that may also interest your readers. You never know who may find your comment and check you (and your blog) out.
• Write an article. At the end of your article give your name, business name, and blog information.
• When people leave comments on your blog, respond to them. Remember, people want to feel connected.
• Be patient. Building a large following is going to take time. Just know that if you post good content, people are going to find you. Content is king and will help you build your credibility.

Actress Roseannae Barr explained in an interview Friday with Current TV?s Cenk Uygur?that she?s still pursuing a low-profile presidential campaign because the government and both parties are bought and paid for by corporate interests, and that average Americans, ?don?t dig that.?

Saying that her biggest issue was, ?peace in the world,? Barr, who is running on the Peace and Freedom Party ticket,?attacked the political status quo a, ?duopolistic fundraising machine of the prison/military industrial complex.? In particular, she slammed the privatization of civic institutions and questioned the ?use of prison labor to boost the economy, claiming that 90% of house paint is manufactured by inmates.

?We?re exporting war, and we?re also using prison labor as our manufacturing base,? Barr said.

?They?re talking about privatizing prisons and stuff like that, well, you know I?m the legalization candidate because a lot of the people who are going to jail to make this paint are teenage working class kids and a lot of them are people of color,? she said. ?I just don?t think thats? the kind of country we want.?

Yet those problems persist because, she said, candidates from both parties are beholden to the wealthy donors who finance their campaigns, and not to the American people.

?Nobody in our country is really behind any of this, privatizing prisons and schools or any of this other stuff you get when the highest office and all of your government is for sale to the highest bidder,? she said. ?We don?t dig that.?

As for why she?s opposing Obama, Barr said her candidacy would push him in the right direction on some issues where they had disagreements.

?If I were in OBama?s positon, I would do some different things,? she said. ?And so I?m kind of running so that I can offer Obama other ideas,? she said.

Barr sought the Green Party nomination earlier this year, though the party instead picked Jill Stein to represent them in November.

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Friday ruled that Google Inc's Motorola Mobility unit cannot enforce a patent injunction that it obtained against Microsoft Corp in Germany, diminishing Google's leverage in the ongoing smartphone patent wars.

The injunction would have barred Microsoft from "offering, marketing, using or importing or possessing" in Germany some products including the Xbox 360 and certain Windows software.

The ruling against the German injunction came from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco.

Microsoft deputy general counsel David Howard said the company was pleased with the ruling. A representative for Google's Motorola unit declined to comment.

Brian Love, a professor at Santa Clara Law school in Silicon Valley, said the decision helps Microsoft counteract a favorable dynamic for Google in Germany.

"To some extent Germany has a reputation as place you can go and get an injunction relatively easy," Love said.

The current Xbox 360 is the market-leading console in the United States. Microsoft is expected to unveil its next generation Xbox video game console in 2013.

Microsoft has said that Motorola's patents are standard, essential parts of its software and that Motorola is asking far too much in royalties for their use. Google closed on its $12.5 billion Motorola Mobility acquisition this year.

Microsoft sued Motorola in the United States in 2010, and Motorola then filed a lawsuit in Germany. Earlier this year, Microsoft announced plans to move its European distribution center to the Netherlands from Germany ahead of a possible injunction.

After a court in Mannheim issued the sales ban, U.S. District Judge James Robart in Seattle granted Microsoft's request to put the German order on hold earlier this year. According to Robart, the ruling would remain in effect until he could determine whether Motorola could appropriately seek a sales ban based on its standard essential patents.

In its ruling on Friday, a three-judge 9th Circuit unanimously upheld Robart's order. Since Microsoft had already brought a lawsuit against Motorola for breach of contract in the United States, U.S. courts have the power to put the German injunction on hold, the 9th Circuit said.

"At bottom, this case is a private dispute under Washington state contract law between two U.S. corporations," the court ruled.

European regulators are investigating claims that Motorola over-charged Microsoft and Apple Inc for use of its patents in their products and thereby breached antitrust rules.

The case in the 9th Circuit is Microsoft Corporation vs. Motorola Inc, Motorola Mobility Inc and General Instrument Corporation, 12-35352.

MEDINAH, Ill. (AP) ? For the first time in his career, Tiger Woods will be on the bench at the Ryder Cup.

U.S. captain Davis Love III has decided not to play Woods in the Saturday morning session of foursomes. Woods had played every match since making his debut at Valderrama in 1997. He did not play in the 2008 matches while recovering from knee surgery, and he only played four matches in Wales two years ago because the matches were reconfigured due to rain.

Love had said all week he didn't want players to be in all five matches so they could conserve energy for the singles matches on Sunday.

Woods played poorly in a foursomes loss Friday morning and was sent back out. He made seven birdies Friday afternoon in a fourball loss and was benched.

Fred Danzinger is an artist originally from Western Pennsylvania and now based in Philadelphia, where he is also a member of the faculties of The Art Institute of Philadelphia and The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Over his long career, Danzinger has experimented with a variety of approaches and subjects, not just in phases, but in an apparently restless exploration throughout the years. I had the chance yesterday to see a show at the Rodger LaPelle Galleries here in Philadelphia, in which a fine variety of Danzinger?s work is showcased, from large scale landscapes and cityscapes to small plein air studies.

The matter of scale is one that is difficult to convey in images, and scale is one of the areas in which Danzinger appears to enjoy experimenting. Some of his works are quite large, such as The Four Seasons (images above, third down), which is 44 x 96?, and 16th and Market (second down) which is 36 x 44?; others are small plein air pieces that are 5 x 7? or 8 x 10?.

I find the drama of scale particularly effective in his intimate landscape subjects of leaves and grasses, like Autumn Drift (above, top) which is 36 x 50? and Dewpoint (fifth down), which is 22 x 34?. These are just magical; the scale reinforces the contemplative subtlety of the work, reminiscent of Durer?s famous studies of turf and wildflowers.

Danzinger?s accomplished portrait subjects often incorporate elements of cityscape, and his still life subjects feel continuous with his focus on the close up details of the landscape.

My schedule made me late in getting to the show at the Rodger LaPelle Galleries this month, so my notice to those of you in the Philadelphia area who might be able to get there is a bit short. The show ends this Sunday, September 30th, but it?s well worth trying to see it if you have the chance.
